Getting ready for the night walk with Groups 1-5
Group 7 Forest Walk
We are group 7 and today we went forest walking. We went down through the forest and by the river. On the way we found blay berries and feasted on them, smearing our faces with purple juice. When we got to the river we concentrated on making stone towers ( this was a disaster). Group 7 are: Lily, Iona, Jenny, Ivy, Beau, Angus, Asta, James, Michelle and Danny.
Group 6 Adventuring
Group 6 were having a lot of fun in the woods. We painted our faces with blueberries, climbing up a river, were skimming pebbles, climbing on rocks and abseiling. The people in our group are Ruby S, Emma, Tea, Lucy, Dee-Jay, Dylan E, Dylan, Atharva, Nazim and Elias.
Group 9 Assault Team
We are Group 9 and we have been doing an exciting assault course. It involved different ropes courses linked between trees. We had to work as a team. An example of one of the challenges involved swinging from tyres at different heights. An added challenge was as a group we had to bring a bucket of water along with us and make sure that there was still water left in the bucket at the end to throw at a tree. Group 9 are: Callum S, Ewan, Patrick, Taro, Emily, Jemima, William B, Lorna, Abi and Sophia.
Group 8 Orienteering
Group 8 have just had fun in the sunshine orienteering. The girls' group found the 40 pointer which their instructor said was the hardest challenge (Ruby M, Anna S, Bea, Megan W and Shakira).
Team Dan went a bit off the track to go and get sweets from their lodge (naughty). The boys are: Brad, Tom, Robbie G, Dan and Ben.
